A month since the French release & some news
Hi! I’m getting back on here with some news since the French release of Peau d’âme (SoulSkin) on March 6.
Peau d’âme was reprinted 4 days after the release because it sold out 🎉 which is, not only completely crazy and overwhelming, but also great news for the future. If it keeps selling as well as it did, we might catch the attention of foreign publishers.
However, as it is really rare that French books are translated to English (except for the classics and the bestsellers), I’m considering hiring a translator, finding an agent, and going through this route instead of waiting. That would require money I don’t have yet, but I’m looking into it.
My next signing sessions will take place at:
Paris, France - Le Festival du Livre. April 11-13.
Mons, Belgium - Trolls & Légendes. April 19-20.
Toulouse, France - Le comptoir du rêve. April 26.
Epinal, France - Les Imaginales. May 23-25.
Book 2 will release in France, Belgium and Switzerland, on October 16. It’s usually available in Québec a month after the official release. I believe book 1 should now be available there!
If you want to buy the French version and Amazon doesn’t deliver it to your area, you can directly contact my editor, they’ll send it.

If you were to start a kickstarter or some other crowd funding campaign to raise the costs for a translator, I would happily give towards it and share with others.
